Due to the impending construction of the Atlantic Sunrise Pipeline, we've had to suspend our farming operation for the 2017-2018 season.
We fought for 3 years, with the help of many dedicated people, to prevent this pipeline from crossing through our community and to protect our farm. The regulatory system is badly broken though, and with the threat of being taken to federal court and dragged through eminent domain proceedings we've decided to step down from this fight.
We continue to support any and all resistance to fossil fuel infrastructure, and keep up hope that one day living things will be more important than money.
We don't know what our farm will look like when they've finished laying the pipeline. But we hope to be back in the fields soon.
